Electrica' s commitment to quality dates back to the origins; it used to participate in quality programs, especially with computer and office automation industries, quite before they evolved into the ISO 9000 standards, as well as in a number of supplier qualification programs with major customers.

On March 30, 1994 Electrica's quality system was first certified by CSQ in compliance with the standard UNI EN ISO 9001.The first certificate was replaced by Certificate n. IT - 35383 dated Nov 12, 2009 according to the new standard ISO 9001:2008.
